NW Projections Film Festival

April 16-18, 2010
Festival Director: Wilson Large

NW Projections Film Festival (NWPFF) began in 2000 to support and encourage the work of local filmmakers from Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and San Juan Counties. Since then the event has evolved into a regional festival with submissions coming from around the entire state. The weekend-long festival, which takes place in April, is an opportunity for community members and visitors from outside Whatcom County to see high-caliber, locally produced films. NWPFF also raises awareness of the area’s growing film industry.

The festival features screenings at a variety of local venues and also includes an Opening Night Party, workshops and presentations by local and regional professionals, and opportunities for networking.

NWPF FAQS

Q: What if I don’t have a paypal account?
A: You don’t need one. You can pay with your credit or debit card.

Q: Do I have to upload the highest resolution possible for my film.
A: No, you can if you want, but it’s actually easier for us to judge the submissions in low res. Once you are notified that you are in the festival, you can upload a higher res version of your film.

Q: If I’m paying late entry fee how do I pay the extra five dollars?
A: The fee will automatically be changed to $25 in paypal.

Q: I do not own a computer what should I do.
A: In the rare case you don’t have a computer or internet, than please contact the festival director. He will give you directions.
